WeConservePA

As the Art and Design intern at WeConservePA, I was expected to create content in a variety of programs for projects in multiple forms. I worked on multiple projects at time for the entirety of the internship. Most of these projects centered around communication from WeConservePA to conservationists and environmental groups in PA.

  • I worked on multiple print projects for events and informational booklets, and I updated projects from previous years
  • I designed social media pieces to promote events across platforms
  • I created original artwork for media and print use
  • I communicated directly with co-workers and outside print business to complete projects

How can stories be told through the manipulation and personification of nature? This two-year portfolio explored the theme statement, “How can stories be told through the manipulation and personification of nature”, with a variety of materials and techniques and a focus on children’s illustration. The pieces were planned and created within the span of 1-2 weeks each. When submitted for the Advanced Placement Drawing Exam, it received the top score of 5 and was one of the 1.21% of submitted portfolios to earn a perfect score.
